Do your products appear in the Shopify Global Catalog?

Endcap queries the Shopify Global Catalog as a neutral agent and checks whether your products appear in the results — the catalog layer that AI channels like ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot draw from. No install, no account.

Enter your .myshopify.com domain or your custom domain — we'll resolve it.

This is a directional measurement, not a prediction of what any specific AI assistant will show you.

How this works

  1. 1We find your store's public catalog endpoint from your domain.
  2. 2We take 5 products from your own store's catalog.
  3. 3For each one, we write two buyer-style queries from the product's title — never the exact title, which would always match.
  4. 4We test each query against your own store's catalog first. If the product doesn't come up there, the query isn't a fair test, so we discard it.
  5. 5We run the queries that passed against the Shopify Global Catalog, where your products sit alongside every other merchant's. We read the results page by page to the end — often several hundred.
  6. 6Either the product appeared, and we tell you where it came up; or it did not appear anywhere in the results we read.
